Experience the stunning Cartago Province on this exclusive private tour. Start your adventure at the summit of the Irazú Volcano, towering at 11,260 feet (3,432 m), making it the highest active volcano in Costa Rica. Discover its fascinating history and the stories of its significant volcanic activity.

Next, explore the picturesque countryside and the Orosi Valley, home to the iconic Iglesia de San José de Orosi. Built in 1743, this is the oldest church still in use in the country. Its whitewashed exterior and classic Spanish colonial architecture showcase the dedication and artistry that went into its creation.

As we continue our journey, we’ll visit another remarkable Spanish colonial church constructed between 1575 and 1580, as well as the Las Ruinas de Ujarrás, set amidst a beautiful garden—an ideal spot to learn about early Spanish settlements. Our adventure will take us to Cachi Lake and the Basilica de Los Ángeles before we indulge in a delightful scenic lunch.
